I came up entirely on FA for the first decade of my career, zero social media presence, and was still able to fill out a comm queue. "This is the easiest for you at a specific point in time" really does nail it. Peoples' inability or unwillingness to adapt hurts them way more than most things.

Admittedly: Bluesky's not a porn site, and honestly we shouldn't treat it like one, but it's insane what they will and won't allow, and how granular they'll get moderating it without any of the proper tools to do so.

Like this site already has tagging system, just add like...three more pips to it to encompass "hard kinks" or something, then have those be opt-in if you're worried about "the children" or whatever.

I don't like watersports, so I can just block that tag. Some people don't tag it like that though, but they'll still tag it "piss" or something, and I can just go click that tag and it immediately gets added to my list. Bam, simple as.

Right now I actually think FA's is maybe the best, with a little modification. I wouldn't mind maybe more umbrella fetish tags. Being able to block *any* new tag with a single click solves a lot of guesswork.
