Fun fact: Exeter/Laurels GIC's referral letter tell you to not do DIY HRT because "the money might be used for crime"

Tbh. The Levy Review is coming soon, which could have major effects on these GICs, so I'd potentially even hold off from that conversation for now until the review drops (it's severely delayed)

GICs don't ever publish this data, but you need another few appointments to get HRT. It may be months or years apart depending on your GIC

Oh and David Levy is medical director of LSC ICB, who, back in their CCG guise introduced the very first wide ranging ban on GP’s working with private gender clinics “for safety reasons”.

You know, just in case anybody thought this would be fair or helpful

The ban also included any provision for blood tests for people forced onto DIY HRT and advising against bridging prescriptions back when they were still relatively common (compared to today)

That policy is still in effect and actively harming trans patients in the area

All the other GICs in Scotland are region locked
Lothian - Must be in Edinburgh
Highlands - Highlands, aka Inverness and some other mountain villages
Grampian - NHS Grampian, so Aberdeen
