They’re playing abysmally. I dare say that even is Ekholm was there and healthy they’d be doomed. Credit to the Kings for how they are playing but the Oilers don’t get possession even when they win a faceoff, can’t make a 5ft pass, and are missing the net like it’s the point of the game. Just awful.

Dubnyk got much better after leaving the Oilers, same would likely happen with Skinner if they decide to trade him.

Skinner is your #1 so you have to go with him. But after game 1 it’s gotta be a short leash. And if he’s a direct reason for a loss come the end of the game then Pickard is your man for the foreseeable future.
