for pdf's i've been using stirling pdf. doesn't let you edit pdf's (as in, the text itself) but has most other functions that acrobat pro offers afaik. it lets you batch compress pdf's, which is great when you own a ton of TTRPG manuals and keep running out of storage space 😅
