New Lancet Psychiatry paper on antipsychotic prescribing in dementia. These drugs carry serious risks, so exposure should be minimal. In England we found: ~1/10 treated; 1/5 start above min dose (~1/3 stay high); 50% exposed >7 months; ~50% restart. Read/share: www.thelancet.com/journals/lan...
