Nobody that still go on saying that it isn’t theft at this point is not doing it in good faith. There is no conversation possible with these people, it’s not ignorance it’s that it’s advantageous for them to take that stance.

Every time I have a full figure in an illustration, I swear I will not spend a crazy amount of time on the face, that will be printed so small nobody will see the details.

And every time it’s a lie.

I had an agent ages ago when I was working (not successfully) with children publishing, I wouldn’t get one again for fantasy, I am not currently looking for a lot of work with books but the SFF community is not that big and sometimes I get contacted by ADs from big publishers that find me online

Thank you so much! That one is a funny story because the tales of Abeth one was originally a fanart I did for a contest the author held where I won an arc of the last book, and after they asked me to do the cover for the omnibus and to use that one for the short story collection.
