Maybe I have over thought this but it just feels like the billionaires feel safe that their emails are protected at a different level because some of the people they're emailing are probably high up at Google & Meta, etc.

We are about to see if it's a viable strategy, yeah? Kat's not done running, so the jury is still out. COINTELPRO definitely thought it was a viable enough strategy!

Don't have to win congressional elections if you can pressure the electorate to pass free school breakfast programs. Winning elections is only one way to gain power. Forcing government officials to actually represent your interests takes a lot of forms.

If something new doesn't work either, I think the appropriate response is to try another new thing instead of continually going back to losing strategies. Move forward. Democrats love to run losers. People who have already lost elections shouldn't be in charge of winning future elections.

You do realize this isn't some cost benefit calculation where you're trying to spend the best to get a return on your money, right? If you're just trying to spend-thrift your way to an electoral victory with no consideration of the good done or your own morals, then you can fuck off.

I volunteered for Kat, donated, & participated because she was doing things you say don't work. She is the only person I see out there walking the walk & putting her money where her mouth is. Maybe it doesn't feel like it to you, but doing something new activates people who wouldn't vote otherwise!

My aunt & uncle own a home like that on a hillside out there. They bought it in the early 1970's & just decided to never move. Visiting them through my whole life once or twice a year, I was always struck by how even months after I left...it just felt like that's all you could ask for in life.
