Well, it's all in the pictures again!
Left: Vanya in DAO Right: Branwyn in DA2 Vanya was never scared of dying, until she learned of the Calling. She'd accepted her fate as a Warden, except for this part and the part about dying to kill the archdemon. She's just not one for noble sacrifices, she wants to live. She'd rather keep going for as long as possible, instead of having her life cut short and departing to the Deep Roads. When she sets off to stop the Calling, it's partly because she believes having older, more experienced Wardens around would be useful, partly because she is just so obsessed with not falling to it. As for a fear that seems insignificant next to this, Vanya is not particularly fond of nugs. They just look…cursed. Don't tell Leliana. Branwyn's relatively insignificant fear is spiders, big or small, it doesn't matter. She usually panics and incinerates them with a disproportionately big fireball. She used to be really scared of templars coming to drag her to a circle, but she stopped fearing them in Kirkwall, when she found she can easily take them (and later, well, everything changed). And her big fears? Losing more people she loves. Even worse: Being able to save them, but coming too late or being too slow. She's scared for Anders: for his safety, and also knowing that he is the biggest danger to himself. Last thing I'll mention before moving onto Fern, Branwyn is terrified of falling asleep. She (unsurprisingly) has nightmares after facing the Nightmare in the Fade and sleep always takes her back there. Left: Fern in DAI Right: Havran in DATV Fern is terrified of failing the people who are looking up to her and appearing as anything less than perfect. She overthinks her every mistake and misstep. She feels like she needs to keep a stark reputation, or else she would be done for and the Inquisition with her. She's anxious about leading it for a long time — in fact, she only gains true and unshakable confidence in her leadership while protecting the south during Veilguard. For a long time, she was scared of demons and possession, but then she learned they can't take hold of her as easily as she imagined when she was a child. Havran is scared of deep waters. She never learned to swim. Only after she joined the Wardens, they tried to teach her, she wasn't too good, and after accidentally falling to a lake in heavy armour and nearly drowning, no one could get her to swim practice again. You guessed it, she was freaking out in the Ossuary (and admires Lucanis all the more for enduring such a long time there). She's also scared of being bestowed leadership ever again. It's too much responsibility and she is not a responsible person…or at least, she doesn't feel like one.

Last night I wanted to play a bit of Vanya's Veilguard AU but I forgot how early in the game I am there and I didn't feel like doing the first Arlathan quest, so I instead loaded up Ross's save and grabbed a Crow 😌

Yes, I worded the question like that, might as well answer it like that too. ❤️ I don't think Branwyn relaxed a single day in her life, she can't sit idly, but she certainly tried. Lock the door, stay in bed, eat snacks, do her man, let her man do her, read a book, hot bath. She's also a frequent visitor at the Hanged Man, and stays ther with her friends until late hours. Left: Fern in DAI Right: Havran in DATV 💚 During the Inquisition, Fern would relax mainly by escaping to her quiet quarters to be alone. Then she let Cullen in, to talk to him and to…do…him. (okay, I'll stop now) She also picked up gardening as her hobby during this time. She might go to the tavern with her friends sometimes, but she much more cherishes privacy and silence when she has the chance to unwind. 💜 After Veilguard, Havran moved to Treviso with Lucanis and started learning to bake (though she's heard the Crows say she's actually "disgracing the good Antivan cuisine"). She likes to visit her friends or invite them over a lot, she hates being separated from them. She enjoys being active, too, and loves the training sessions they have with Lucanis.
