All the argument "Reform will be worse" sounds like to a lot of migrants, trans and non-binary individuals, disabled people etc, not all but many, is "my life will be worse and you are just collateral damage to ensure I don't have to face what you face now". That's not a vote winning message. 23/

Lots of countries have gender self ID too- Ireland, Germany, Spain and others. Does this mean we’re getting that too? Or do we only introduce things that will make life harder for minorities?

I saw Rachel at Trans Pride Brighton the other week (she was there in a personal capacity). So, coupled with her responses to lgbtiqa+ greens and other statements I’m confident she is supportive.

Thanks for this. It looks impressive but I know that some of them e.g. abortion and assistant dying were not government policies. They were private member amendments passed on a free vote. I do not think labour leadership can claim those - in fact several of the cabinet did not vote for them.

I had seen these announcements but what I was interested in was information on what concrete achievements had been made as Tracey stated more had been done during this government than the previous 14 years so wanted to compare that to the issues raised in the article.

Very helpful. Thanks!

Do you mean gov.uk or labour.org? Because I can’t find a list of policy achievements on either…
gov.uk

Do you have a list of achievements that match the list of issues raised in the article?

I have been a Green party member for several years.
I will be voting Zack.
I respect the work Ellie has been doing since being elected but I expect our leadership to loudly support our policies - including trans rights. Everything I have seen of Zack convinces me he backs GPEW values.
