Yes. Had 12 weeks Taxol/Herceptin then Herceptin every 3 weeks for a year total last infusion on 10/23 after surgery. I was stage 1a 1.4 cm, no node involvement. However, on imaging it was only 0.8 cm but after surgery 1.4 cm so I feel it was growing very fast.

It drives me a little crazy that getting surgery first made it so that I don’t know if the treatment was effective but I went locally then Mayo in Rochester and they both said surgery first.

It's all horrible. I hope they are continuing NIH funding. There are breast cancer vaccines in trials and I don't want that to stop.

I understand. I found out that I have bad osteoporosis in my hip, so the hormone therapy is not good for that. I was told when I went to Mayo that the hormone therapy doesn’t work quite as well on her2 positive people, but I’m just so scared of it coming back that I’m still going to take it.

My GERD got worse after starting anastrozole. I am taking Pepcid twice daily which I don’t think causes the bone loss like PPIs
