NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. They’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts.

Minutes ago, the Trump admin revoked the sensitive locations policy that prevented ICE from carrying out enforcement arrests inside churches, hospitals, and schools.

Withholding something to create fear, then giving it back, is a classic abuse pattern. When they see it works, they'll do it again. If they see where you go and what you do when hurt, it'll be used to cut you off from those options next time. Just remember that, and create safety plans now.

My family was at the Inauguration yesterday. I had no interest in watching them celebrate as corrupt leaders perpetuate an unjust system. Instead, I marched in my local MLK parade.
I'll always stay informed, but watching rich people lose touch with humanity was a show I've already seen.
