Being a teacher and making less than $50k would make me want to throw up. I almost made less than that my first year (I didn’t) and I make a lot more now in my 3rd year. I can’t believe there are teachers that make such low wages. The job is hard, even if it’s “only” 9 months a year.

Day 2 of 2025. Putting my plans into action is such a mental battle lol how come it feels so great to set your goals but soooo awful when it comes time to work towards them 😭

The final day was Disney Day and all my kids had Mickey Ears on, and we did a bunch of Disney POVs on rides, parades, and shows. It was so cute 🥰

I did a 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar with my students and they loved it! We also did Christmas around the world 🌎! But I am exhausted after this week.

It’s crazy that there’s nineteen 7-8 year olds who are obsessed with me. I showed them a picture of my dog today and they went crazy! (They’ve seen her before) Any little piece of personal life they can get from me really fuels them lmaoooo #lifeofateacher
