I feel like I’m still young just not AS young. Mostly it’s from being around people in their 20s and early 30s. I don’t feel disconnected from them, quite the contrary. But it’s easier to see the differences in life experience and that makes me more aware of my age.

We have to revamp all three branches. I can see a scenario where Congress has more enforcement power over SCOTUS. But then how do you rein in Congress? And that means making that body more representative of the public. So gerrymandering needs to see its death knell as the Senate needs a reboot.

I’ve become more aware of the fact that I have way more connections to local elected officials and policymakers than I realized. So I’m making more of an effort to get in touch with them about the issues for which I want to advocate more which will have positive community impacts.

This. Prepackaged food made with vegetables aren’t bad for you if the ingredients are literally vegetables plus salt or some other ingredient you readily recognize. Now, the salt’s gotta be within reason of course. But still!
