Absolute madness, bit very exciting to watch on TV as a child!

Our regular field trips from South London were to Box Hill, the Mole Gap and a memorable English field trip to the South Downs when our class read was Watership Down. Thirty girls in waterlogged jeans and saturated footwear literally steaming on the coach trip home was not a happy sight!

I think the surgery you had is life-enhancing. I have a couple of overly endowed friends and sympathise with the frustration and discomfort it causes.

Morning Caroline and ORC chums. Just seen Leo stalked up the garden by two magpies. They nest in a hawthorn, usually territorial but seem more so this year. Might be connected with the cheeky young squirrel who visits their tree on a regular basis. Puttanesca for dinner, perfect for this weather.

Wow – that’s some trip! Best we did was a geography field trip to Wales and a post O level trip to Yorkshire (although that did include seeing the York Mystery play so was memorable).
