True! It's conflicting though. India needs to continue its march towards better things, but these environmental issues also matter. Hopefully there will be newer technology that will help balance the two.

Sadly they have ignored the ecological impact on the environment. Data centres require huge amounts of water for cooling the equipment. India doesn't have sufficient water for its populace, despite abundant rainfall in most recent monsoon seasons, so these data centres are going to be bad. 🙁
