Longtime resident and this is absolutely correct. Every business in this area calls itself part of Uptown either through name or reference. Is the Uptown Diner not part of Uptown? Up-Down? The "Uptown" VFW Post? Spyhouse Uptown? Geographical puritans on this issue are ridiculous.
