*but. Here's another angle. I think she dreams she's Rita Hayworth and Angelina Jolie put together. With sunlit fluff.

On today's walk around the WB lot, I spotted two wild rabbits in the rose garden and was followed briefly by first a squirrel and then a raven. Lots of these (double hibiscus?) starting to bloom.

So far so excellent.

Cold day for a walk on the quiet WB lot today. A circular blue scrim spotted inside the Bad Monkey stage. The inflatable rooster on top of the booth by The Pitt stage is sadly droopy. Pink lights on the water tower.

I've got the silent film The Love Light (1921) directed by the great Frances Mario on while I do other things, and every time I look up at it, the view is spectacular. Like, every shot. Searched and found this compilation on Reddit.

But last night, she proved the laws of gravity don't apply to rectangular cats. The cupboards love her too.

Sadie started things off by nursing on a blanket on top of me as I wrapped her up in it completely. She loves to be completely covered and fell asleep inside it. Now she's napping in rectangular fashion, as well fed baby cats as wont to do.

A Charlie break means a love break.

Stunning! Thanks for sharing. They always look like startled nuns to me. Love them.

Sadie would say he's handsome. Perhaps after her awkward nap.

Charlie doesn’t like my room and rarely enters, but today, he came in and sat in my chair for hours. Some back soon, Charles!

More great TV: Mo, Season 2. Harrowing. Hilarious.

Favorite thriller: HANG ON SAINT CHRISTOPHER by Adrian McKinty. I'm addicted to McKinty's Sean Duffy series, set near Belfast during The Troubles. What a setting! Echoes of today as paramilitaries via for power and one flawed man tries for a smidgen of justice.

Best TTRPG system: Daggerheart. Nimble, fun, easy to learn. Fuels the imagination.

Best TV series: ANDOR, Season 2. Moving, gorgeous, frightening relevant. Deep character and deeper writing. Just go watch it.

My personal best of for 2025. Eccentric and personal. First up, best movie I saw - SINNERS. Blew my mind. Drove me to watch analyses of references and visuals. Ryan Coogler is a genius. Michael B. Jordan giving the film performance of the year.

After reading Chuck's hilarious blog post, I asked AI if I have a dog. And I don't. But I do have an late husband! Apparently he loved every dog he met. Which isn't easy when you don't exist.

I would ask what his name was, but I don't want to use more water and electricity proving AI is bullshit.
