Seasonally appropriate discovery. First indisputable fossil holly flower (Ilex wennebergii) described from Baltic amber inclusion (34–38 Ma). The Baltic amber collection @nhmdk.bsky.social is rich in trapped remains providing a window into past biodiversity.
