Warring States Destroyer GoShogun (1981) - Takeshi Shudo, Kunihiko Yuyama, Ashi Productions
an absolute blast the whole way through, definitely one of my favorite super robot shows from this time. I cannot believe Shudo predicted SEGA Enterprises's downfalls so accurately.

despite having two mains who are not really that investing as characters, I do believe its approach toward the original Jeeg works is inherently revered and it did get me with the Michi and Hiroshi reuinion.
