This lack of foresight seems to very common with neurotypical people. Neurodivergent people see details first, while neurotypical s see things from a more abstract view. We need both types of people in the workforce, not only to build better products but to save time and money.

I have autism and have been a software dev for 20 years. I have been on many projects where I have been laughed at because I talk about edge cases in the application. Fast forward six months, we have to rewrite over half the application because we hit the edge case.

Once you understand how the stack works everything else falls in place.

The problem is that the player base stabilized a long time ago, and people have this misconception that if it’s not the most played game then no one plays is. I play Street Fighter 3 on a regular basis, does it have as many players as 6, no, but I still have a lot of people to play with.
