Bonjam! I'm Jay (She/him) a casual gamer/artist that draws fanart of mostly Nintendo games, with a few exceptions. One common trait of my work is I often insert my six main Splatoon OCs into other franchises such as Zelda or Pokémon. I hope you enjoy :D

Bonjam! This is my first post so I'd like to introduce you to my six Splatoon OCs! They should be appearing a lot here in the future, so this should help you to get the general overview of them! Though of course they have a lot of other little quirks that will have to be revealed more gradually...!
Two Splatoon 3 characters, one on either side of the page, are stood next to a screenshot of what they look like in game. They have the same blue eyes and pale skin, though SquidJ on the left is shorter and has pastel pink ink and a blue-grey colour scheme compared to OctJ who is wearing the same top but in a bright yellow-to-red gradient, with ink to match. There's text in the image reading: "SquidJ (She/him) A shy but strategic inkling and my Squidsona. She came to Splatsvile a few years ago and- after meeting Eight- founded the Seaweed Splatoon, a team of turflings who participate in Turf Wars together, and protect the city if they need to. Before that she was also in the Squibeak Splatoon as Neo Agent 3, exploring Alterna and meeting Deep Cut." And "OctJ "Eight" (She/her) Agent 8 of the Squidbeak Splatoon and my Octosona. However, unlike SquidJ she has more original- and canonical- traits, including preferring to go by 'Eight' as it took her a long time to remember her real name. After the events of Side Order she decided to stay in Splatsvile for a while, and quickly met SquidJ after a Jelly mistook them for the same person due to their similar appearances. They now share a flat in the city, though Eight's often out visiting Alterna and Inkopolis" Two Splatoon 3 characters, one on either side of the page, are stood next to a screenshot of what they look like in game. Limu on the left has beige eyes and brown skin, wearing a green hoodie, ripped jeans and sunglasses resting on their forehead. Laptev on the right is shorter, has brown eyes and tanned skin, wearing a red T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up, shorts and a large orange sunhat. There's text in the image reading: "Limu (She/them) A calm but confident inkling that moved to the Splatlands when she was very young, though only came to Splatsvile proper a couple of years ago to pursue her dream of becoming a competitive E-litre player. They joined (and actually suggested the name for) the Seaweed Splatoon for extra practice, though they're also an Eggsecutive VP in Salmon Run Next Wave, as she can't tolerate the things." And "Laptev (He/him) A cheery and sociable inkling, and Limu's best friend. He met them basically as soon as they moved to the Splatlands and have been friends ever since. Laptev thrives in the heat and loves wearing light, summer-y clothes, even in the middle of winter. In battle he's a lot less skilled than his bestie, and instead prefers to turf the field and generally make it harder for the opponents and easier for his teammates to nab the win." There's text in the image reading: "Aster (She/he/they/whatever) Polite and all-round-imperturbable, Aster is a relatively older octoling originally from a somewhat wealthy family that lives on Anarchy Bay. They moved to Splatsvile to look after their younger sister, Azure, who wanted to experience Turf Wars for herself. Aster is very much the parent friend of any group, and always carries around a huge bag of just about everything you could possibly need." And "Azure (She/Her) Aster's younger sister and pretty much their opposite. Although they both have intense loyalty to family and friends, Azure is many things Aster isn't. She's chaotic, messy, has very strong, visible emotions, and loves all different kinds of battles. She even met the Seaweed Splatoon after lucky matchmaking repeatedly put the Splatoon and the two siblings in the same battles. After that they all became good friends and started playing together regularly."

Bonjam! Well it was only a matter of time... May I present an assortment of very random thoughts I had a while back about my favourite game franchise... Kirby! Although I love my Splatoon OCs, the Kirby series just has so many great games... And a lot of pretty absurd lore.
Various art of Kirby characters are spread across the page. At the bottom left, Kirby is running and smiling alongside Shadow Kirby, who has a much more serious expression. To their right, Meta Knight is posing with his wings outstretched. Above him, Bandana Waddle Dee is looking up with admiration at King Dedede, who is preparing a Hammer Flip. Finally, to their left, Marx is grinning and hopping on his jester ball, next to a depiction of him in his True form, wings spread and with an alarming expression. Some text is next to each image, next to the Kirbies it reads: 'These two are literally Carefree (Kirby) vs Careless (Shadow) And I adore them both <3'. Next to Meta it says 'If he had a phone, he would absolutely have a 300+ photo gallery of cool-looking medieval weapons and you cannot convince me otherwise' 'I appreciate a character who's both extremely cool and quite clearly a nerd'. Next to Dedede 'I'm kinda disappointed that we didn't get to see the King Dededestroy the beast pack to protect Kirby and the Waddle Dees in the ending sequence of Forgotten Land. Nobody messes with his li'l guys!'. And finally by Marx 'Given how he shakes his head after that one idle animation featured at the end of his Star Allies Dream Friend trailer and how, unlike Susie, his Guest Star description doesn't have any negative connotations, I don't think Marx is responsible for his 'hangry demon' tendencies' 'Does make me feel bad for the guy. One minute a (mostly) harmless jester, next a power-hungry abomination'.

Bonjam! Bit of a random one today, but here's some art I did for one of the very few non-Nintendo games I play... Bloons TD 6! I made this around when the hero Silas was released, as he's one of my favourite heroes (alongside Etienne and Psi) plus a bunch of other favs towers of mine! (I have many)
Seven monkeys from BTD6 are depicted, including Rubber To Gold (x-x-4 Alchemist) Glaive Lord (5-x-x Boomerang) and Aircraft Carrier (4-x-x Buccaneer) The rest of the towers have some text near them, for the hero Silas there's some lore from Ninja Kiwi's official blog, reading: 'You might expect Silas to have a rivalry with Gwendolyn, given the whole 'Ice and fire' thing, but they actually have a lot of respect for eachother's vibes!', 'Silas is a plain vanilla ice cream kinda monkey, because it goe great with so many different toppings!' and 'Knows how to make a grilled cheese (It's mandatory hero training)' Additionally all three tier 3 Mermonkeys are shown, as long with some headcanons I have for what one of each of them might be like. 'Top path Mermonkey absolutely adores her li'l Abyss Dweller and- beneath the racket of battle- can be heard whispering praise to it whilst popping Bloons.' 'Middle path Mermonkey is the most serious of the 3, and takes the role of even the T3 upgrade very earnestly. Occasionally gets frustrated with the other two for being 'distracted'.' 'Bottom path Mermonkey is a passionate singer who was delighted to learn that they could use their talents to help stem the relentless flow of Bloons... Though truthfully, they also just love the attention'

Bonjam! Here I present a bunch more Outfits for my OCs, as well as some of the things they might get up to in them! I originally designed these for a Mario Kart World crossover, though gonna be honest I don't think they're gonna be in any DLC that game might be getting XD
Six Splatoon 3 characters are stood each with two different outfits. SquidJ (With blue eyes and pale skin) has a Sailor outfit consisting of a loose light blue crop top and shorts, hat and socks, pink shoes, trimming and ink, as well white stripes. Her second is a Mechanic outfit with a light grey jacket and cap with dark grey brim and trousers, several pockets, and brown shoes and fingerless gloves. Eight (Also with blue eyes and pale skin) has a Pro Racer outfit with her tentacles tied up in a ponytail out the back of her helmet, a mainly blue and white suit under a grey top that mimics her name in Round Script. She also has a special Enchanted set, featuring the three pieces of gear provided by the Eight Amiibo, complete with pink ink and tights. Limu (With beige eyes and brown skin) Has an Aristocrat outfit, with dark green jacket, top hat and trousers, white gloves and shiny brown shoes. They also have a special Outlaw outfit, with a green cloak, hood and top, all with gold trimmings, and a small pouch to store coins. Laptev (With brown eyes and tanned skin) has an Oasis outfit with a mostly bare chest covered partially with a large orange cloak and brown puffy shorts and sandals. He also has an Explorer outfit that looks a lot like those worn by other MKT World racers, in his light brown & orange colour scheme. Aster (With magenta eyes and dark brown skin) has a Vacation outfit with a pale purple cardigan and more saturated light purple skirt and a wide-brimmed hat with coconut crab accessories. They also have a Soft Server outfit with a purple and white striped T-shirt under a blue apron and on their head there's an ice cream hat. Finally, Azure (With green eyes and brown skin) has a Vacation outfit like Aster's, with the main difference being blue colouring, Jellyfish accessories and her cardigan's undone, revealing a dark blue crop top. She also has a special Merling outfit with far longer hair, blue top, tights and antenna-like protrusions on her head The top scene depicts the OCs on a boat- presumably SquidJ's as she's in her sailor outfit. She's perched on the side with an ice cream, leaning away from Azure nervously, who is flicking her Merling tail out the water. Limu is also by the edge of the boat, wearing her Aristocrat costume with her hands resting on a cane, watching Laptev in his Oasis alt receive an Ice cream from Soft Sever Aster. They have a tray for carrying ice cream, but there's only three left as Eight in her Enchanted robes already has hers. The bottom scene is split into three smaller ones, each depicting two OCs in their other outfits. Mechanic SquidJ and Pro Racer Eight are together, the former presenting blueprints for kart designs to the latter, who is watching with her helmet off. Next to the blueprints on the table is a squid phone, several pens and a lamp. Outlaw Limu and Explorer Laptev are together, both climbing a rope that extends offscreen as a steep brown cliff towers over them. Limu is climbing up confidently, though Laptev, higher up, looks a bit more unsteady. Aster and Azure are holding hands underneath a bright sun whilst in their matching Vacation outfits, probably on some kind of holiday, as Azure looks very excited

Bonjam! I've got some art already made that I'd like to share, so today please enjoy my OCs in cozy/pajama-esque outfits. If you haven't met my OCs yet I've pinned my first post for easier access in the future.

SquidJ (With blue eyes and pale skin) is wearing a ribbed top that's loose over one shoulder, blue-and-white striped trousers and grey cat slippers. Eight (Also with blue eyes and pale skin) has a matching red shirt and trousers, with pockets and white stripes on the ends of the sleeves and legs. Limu (With beige eyes and brown skin) Has a short dark green dressing gown tied around the waist and long trousers of a similar colour, as well as a green-blue top and socks. Laptev (With brown eyes and tanned skin) sports an orange Oodie with a lighter orange squid pattern, pink trousers and bare feet. Aster (With magenta eyes and dark brown skin) has an untied light purple dressing gown, white top and socks, striped dark purple trousers and light purple slippers. Finally, Azure (With green eyes and brown skin) is wearing a long-sleeved indigo dress with wave-like stripes and a skirt that goes down to just above the knees as well as fluffy socks of the same colour.
