Definitely illegal anyway..."Cool" it seems to have always been (still is?) in a certain part of our population. Methinks this is a large part of the the problem: Rationalization of appalling (and illegal) behavior. 🤑

Um, that skeet was not about anyone in particular. It was, as I read it, about nonviolent protest working! (Trying to keep people who might otherwise choose violent actions from doing that.)

I am often enough complaining about the NYT's many, many failures, but it still has moments of brilliant journalism and even opinion. It is decidedly not the Washington Post which is encouraging democracy to die in darkness.

They said "free speech" and "academic freedom" but never believed in either and now in texas you need a permission slip to mention race in class and they're fine with it. Might not have worked if people with large platforms weren't furious about marginal increases of black people in their offices
