Of course, this could receive adjustments later down the line, and ultimately which style I choose should I make more with these could be a situational case. What do I know? Not everything needs to be set in stone right away.

Because I can't figure out how to fit it all in one post (alt text should mention it anyway), left is the flat colour with colour outline look these started with, right is a result of me seeing how these could look with some of the Sonic Advance like detailing I've been using with my Mario sprites.

Let this be a reminder that prehaps I should be following myself: back up your stuff frequently so things don't become a setback when they go wrong.
