Six of one, half a dozen of the other, though. If Starmer goes, it'll cause a mess for at least the rest of 2026. If Starmer stays, he'll struggle to retain control of his MPs. Arguably, there's no good option here (at least for the next 6 months).

I'd argue that HMRC's interpretation of a data breach is incorrect. They were given enough details, when combined with other data (like a LinkedIn profile), to determine who the other person is. Therefore, it still counts as a breach, IIRC some GDPR training I received a few years ago.

That's an interesting thing to say. That'll require a significant number of troops on the ground. Have the Venezuelan armed forces already surrendered?
