What Pick A Brick has shown me is Lego's own names for their parts often bears little resemblance to what the community of Lego builders has been naming things.
For example, this is called a 1x1x2/3 Slope 30, or 'cheese slope', on Bricklink and elsewhere. What does Lego call it?
