While our military is unmatched in conventional war, we lack a clear understanding of how to effectively fight asymmetrically. Iraq and Afghanistan proved that we cannot adapt fast enough and fail to hold onto lessons learned.

I remember when active duty it was a distant fear that I would have to choose to follow an unlawful order. I fear soon that our active duty military members will have to make a choice to follow an unlawful order. My guess retention and recruitment will be greatly affected by this administration.
