This will be an unpopular opinion... Grunkenmeyer looks infinitely more comfortable and confident than Allar. And that's saying something given Grunkenmeyer's lack of experience and the tough teams he's faced.

They're going to release names of only Democrats or others that support the Dems, progressives etc. Nothing about Trump will be released or any other MAGA-loving cohort. Those files have been scrubbed. Either that, or DOJ will refuse to release them because they've reopened the investigation.

What are the chances that anything implicating Trump has been removed or otherwise destroyed and Republicans know that? Can't help but be cynical given recent history.

This makes sense. But, just like Garland, Biden overcompensated to avoid looking partisan when it came to DOJ.
