Mako finally went to his first Performance Puppy Class tonight after having it cancelled three times in a row. He actually did everything almost perfectly, and it kept being joked that "Of course the youngest and smallest dog is doing the best." I'm very proud of him!

After careful introductions since Wednesday, Mako is already out with our older dogs and has graduated to bursts of free time in the house (supervised). We were concerned about our other Shiba, Haru, and German Shepherd mix, Inola, because they're older and can be impatient. They have been so nice

It's very hard not to be *insert "well, actually" meme* when I take Inola to a pet friendly store, and the cashier says she knows a lot about dogs but says that German Shepherds and Alaskan Malamutes are practically the same because of their lineage after I answer her question of his breed. Lol.
