I can’t remember which song, but one of the skates I saw was using a slowed down version of an actual song. That would solve the BPM issue - unless that is also some kind of copyright violation I suppose.

If the owners want a salary cap, I would be interested to hear their stance on a profit cap? Baseball is the national pastime, and they could reinvest profits over their cap into their team and bring down prices for fans… everyone wins.

This is the most accurate take. Change probably needed, but that loss didn’t feel like it was on coach. I’d sooner put Beane under the microscope.

I had braced myself for the Jays to get rolled before the series. I told myself that no matter what, the season was a huge success. It’s just tougher to summon that knowing they were *this* close to winning the game multiple times… You’re not wrong though. Helluva year.
