The New Jersey legislature has two bills in front of them to stop the sale of puppy mill puppies in pet stores. Senate President Scutari and Assembly Speaker Coughlin appear to be in the back pockets of the puppy mill industry and are refusing to help.

Hundreds of puppies are sold at NJ pet stores from puppy mills each year. Some were cited for emaciation, dead dogs, open wounds, fleas & lice, injuries & signs of heat distress.

That's great. But why are you protecting cruel puppy mills? Why are Scutari and Coughlin siding with 16 puppy mill stores over a million plus New Jersey pet lovers?

I 100% agree and boy, wait until you find out the position the Dem leaders in the legislature are taking on puppy mills. While Lara Trump and Ron DeSantis speak out against puppy mills, Scutari and Coughlin are blocking legislation that would save dogs. It's political malpractice.

There are a lot of rumblings that what could/should be a great year for New Jersey Democrats may be marred by Scutari and Coughlin's embrace of the puppy mill industry.
