I would love to know who the Australian selectors think are the next crop of men’s team batters. It’s not apparent and it feels like a massive gap compared to the talent profile of other countries.

The Australian batting order is all over the shop. McSweeney is a middle order batter. Marnus looks cooked, Smith is fading and Head is exposed too early. Marsh looks underdone. We may need some short term pain to find the next generation. #AUSVIND

I really like the Bombers draft haul. Gerreyn looks like an athletic beast and Clarke looks competitive and classy. We are set up nicely for 2025 with 2x R1 and 2xR2. Good to see a strategy in play.
