Hard to do at scale, for sure. The land bank model also may not result in lower income families "building wealth" at a rate commensurate with other homeowners. A lot of the value in housing is in the land, not the physical structure sitting on it.

There are a lot of interesting initiatives around affordable housing in the city, but this is the first house donation I've heard of.

The shocking part about this is that the OIG found only one family.

Are we talking about complete books or books that people start and then abandon or return to the library?
