Bash is “divinely appointed royalty” and Inu is… well… that’s complicated. They are incredibly tragic. Idk if they’ll stay that way. But the art above was the “good” ending, which wasn’t canon OOPS

I don’t think Marzio even considers himself most of the time, especially after how he killed Alfira. He over corrects big time.
It does take a lot to knock him down though. Ilmatari painbearer training is both a blessing and a curse for this man.
