I like the headline.
It was supposed to be the "non engagement rally." Down on Washington Ave we were at the east side of the 35w overpass, hoping to protect Cedar Riverside. We were denied. Damn.
(Of course we had no idea what to expect. It could have been hundreds against the handful of us.)

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Interstate from downtown Minneapolis a platoon of anti-fascist stood guard to block the Washington Ave., Bridge from the intended fascist March. However, they were denied glory by the outstanding protesters at City Hall.
Anti-fascist demonstrators waited on the east side of Washington Avenue for the intended March by fascists into the Somali neighborhood at Cedar Riverside in Minneapolis.
