I don’t disagree, it just has felt like for a while that the code is a ratchet that only goes one direction. Have you seen the pitch for patio solar yet because that’s a crazy one? That would make a good video since it’s a cool concept, but will be a nightmare to make breakers for.

The main reason is that for safety standards the default assumption is that it has to be safely operable by the vast majority of people, and just because you know not throw the microwave, air conditioner, and laundry machines on while charging doesn’t mean the average person does.

Main breakerless options do exist, even if they aren’t common. We have some Main Lug only residential products.

I’ve seen ~32 Cuban mil, ~23 Venezuelan mil, 2 Venezuelan civilians =/= ~80. Either top number is wrong or there’s another undisclosed group in the casualty counts.

Based on the numbers floating around that I’ve seen the total death toll needs to come down from ~80 or else there’s some math not really mathing out here.

this doesn’t mean mil will robotically follow all orders or go out on a limb for POTUS but it means that they’re not immune from failures of society they came from. they’re not superheroes, they are americans just like you and me

Are you familiar with the liar’s dividend counter to this future? Basically you can have video evidence of someone doing something heinous, but as long as they lie and falsely claim it’s a deepfake there’s no mechanism for accountability.
