The lake effect snow is coming down hard and is covering the streets, here in the Gold Coast. There is occasional lightning and thunder too. This video was taken around 12:23am.

A big thanks to the Chicago Department of Transportation for condemning the near north side with this all-day-long traffic jam on Division from Larrabee to Elston. No mitigation measures were taken prior to closing 4 bridges, such as signal timing adjustments and traffic aides.
