Have you tried argentium sterling silver? Fine silver would work too - no nickel.

The nickel content in stainless steel is enough to trigger some people’s rashes. Companies can call it hypoallergenic because the nickel is not supposed to leach out. Chemical bonds, etc. I’ve met so many people who can’t wear it though.

Athenaallergy.com is pretty good. By “locking” do you just mean a regular latch, or something more? They have belts but also just plain buckles. #nickelallergy
