I enjoy many things in life but typically use social media to discuss investments. Comments are my personal thoughts and not financial advice.
"stupid fucking idea" works for me.

I highly recommend people read this book about Zuckerberg, Sanberg and Meta from an insider. Careless People indeed.

He should have just said “we need 2 weeks.”

I believe you left off Dojo, the supercomputer that Musk hyped and then quietly dropped. The Wall Street estimates for the value of that business just went "poof" and there was zero accountability for their "oops its a $0" mistake.

What are the terms of the breakup fee? If WBD accepted a hostile bid in theory Netflix would be off the hook for any fees.

Shocking! Musk attempting to deceive investors about a product. This video is a short and sweet encapsulation of exasperation with the lies and fraud.

My guess is that there has been a leadership shakeup and Verizon has been losing market share. They are eager to take back the narrative of losing subscribers and are willing to sacrifice margins in the short term to achieve it. Perhaps $AAPL wants to move big #'s and gave them a great deal also.

In this particular promotion they are essentially giving you a phone and locking you in for 3 years at a very modest monthly fee. After 3 years you can request the device be unlocked but it is only fair to stick with the initial term of the contract.

I need service from AT&T or Verizon in order to get @ast-science.com service in 2026 and beyond. The Verizon offer is absolutely better than the current AT&T offer. I don’t see how Verizon can make any real money on this (note: I also have Verizon Fios so I qualify for extra savings).

His attempts to compel the Fed to lower short term interest rates is more likely to increase inflation expectations and 10 year rates / mortgages. They can’t fix the stuck housing market with high prices and high mortgage rates.

Not just the Department of “Justice” to be accurate. Please remember to use quotes. Every cabinet secretary is guilty of corruption or complicit with the corruption of others.

I think the productive part of the discussion is done here. Best wishes.

Vodafone is the largest MNO outside of China. They have been deeply involved with AST since 2018. Their former CTO Johan Wiberg is on the board of directors. The relationships are very deep. Satco will dominate Europe.

Far better to have several hundred satellites (with earth fixed beam cells) than 14k plus satellites like the Starlink design.

If you paid attention to the original post it’s clear they have retail MNO intentions. MNO’s who control most spectrum will not like that one bit.
