Power football is back. Texas has the big bodies up front and athletic, physical LBs to defend it
So many guys are multidimensional. They can play any front. January, Watson, Moore, and Simmons play a lot of different gaps. Brevard can plug the middle. Smith, Lefau, and Hill have range and play fast

Overall it was a tough start but not as hopeless as it felt live
Arch should improve but short accuracy was an issue last year. Not good
Otherwise, it’s week one. Identity and synergy will come.
Ppl should prepare themselves for big ten ball control O
Wish Sark would deploy Wingo like Worthy

WRs disappointed except Livingstone but tough to judge with Arch’s struggles and broadcast angles
Wingo was mostly fine but expectations are too high for that. Last 3rd&5 was tough catch but one that WR1 makes
Moore disappointed. Fell on a third down, caught a screen while falling for negative yards

TE Endries was my best player on O. Caught balls thrown to him and really liked what I saw from him as a blocker
Townsend got snaps on the first drive (!) and showed great physicality (not technique lol) against a DE in run blocking
Shannon had a great pass pro rep vs Downs. Looked lost some plays

OL was mostly good but not challenged much.
Pass pro generally good vs standard looks. Both tackles got got on a rare play when OSU got creative
Stroh was fine but has a tendency to get over his feet and thrown forward. Could be a big issue. Neto rotated in but seemed more likely to get stonewalled

RB Moved the ball well on the ground. Nothing spectacular (understandable given OSU defense is great) but Baxter and Wisner each had a nice run to cutback/bounce and turn negative plays into first downs. Some good blitz pickups. Really nice to have Baxter back.

QB Some issues were expected growing pains. Some were nerves. That stuff will improve

The concerning part was how he missed. 5 yds short, 3 yds high, at feet then high and behind on same throw. That doesn’t signal an easy fix

Two big missed reads on 4th downs were absolutely killer

Company was founded by UT researchers for a product they developed at the university. Could be much worse. In fact I kind of like it
