this is an actual and existent use case for crypto! zero-knowledge id proofs are now available: reclaimprotocol.org and www.civic.com/pass (@civickey.bsky.social) to name a couple!

there's probably a way to encrypt posted content and provide approved followers decryption keys based on their public keys if really desired -- would not be perfect solution but something!
