I hope so, because more than anything, I’m sorry for the children who won’t receive the educations they deserve, who are being robbed of something invaluable. What a waste.

I like to think every person has a kind of work they’re suited to—work that fulfills them and gives them purpose, something they do out of love rather than obligation. I think teaching was supposed to be that thing for me. I’m sorry to see it go, at least for now. I hope it can be salvaged.
