Well, one top team *is* running away with things.

אפשר לשאול באיזה תחום את עוסקת? ושמח עבורך שזה נגמר. נשמע באמת בלתי נסבל.

100% Dan. Let's start with small things: why can't more teams do something like this?

Nicely written. I wanted Arne to go a few months ago, but when I was at the ground (even when we lost 3-0) I supported him and the team. They deserve our support. Booing is absolutely wrong (I'm not sure it was aimed toward the team/manager, to be honest).

I hope he can turn this around.

My bad! I misread your tweet. Thought you meant since the November break. I was at the Villa game and we played well. Still, even with City and Villa in there, it’s been a relatively kind run of fixtures (not easy though!)

That can largely be explained by the level of opposition we’ve faced, tbf...

Think again

We almost won a game we never tried to win. or at least our manager never tried to win. hilarious

Fantastic article. I write in Hebrew on Twitter, so I don’t expect anyone to follow me, but I’ve been noticing this trend for many months. Back in September, I actually sat down and wrote a similar thread covering the same points as in the article.

I'm at 8-9 for the last few months tbh

I kept thinking about this quote all game today, for 90 minutes we had almost no one in the box. Unbelievable.

And all of them are above us on goal difference. Bring back head to head! 😅

All comes from the manager:

"We were 2-0 up, 3-2 up at the moment it was more about controlling the game.
“We didn't need a goal at that stage. I brought in Wataru Endo.”

I never thought that, to be honest. he's very honest, I'll give him that.

Our manager is known for under-communicating with the players (a good example is what he said about Harvey a few days ago!). If he goes to the media and says Salah isn’t starting because of fixture congestion, and then keeps not starting him without any internal communication, that’s a problem.

Let's bring Messi in January. Wirtz-Messi link-up, some fun at last after this dark few months.

He should always be welcomed back as a fan, if he wants. A bit like Rafa.

& we're not sure who should be in charge to turn it around. not great.
October 26, 2025 at 2:24 AM
We looked the same when he was on the bench or on the left. That's not the issue.
October 25, 2025 at 11:37 PM
Had a poor game but I thought after we conceded his intensity helped us massively in getting the winner.

YES! that was exactly my thoughts on Bournemouth's first goal at Anfield. Couldn't believe how many people were blaming X or Y.
August 27, 2025 at 11:08 PM
& We're at Anfield, for me that's the most impotrent thing in the cups.

You should take a look at Maghnes Akliouche from Monaco. He looks like a super promising player.

On a different note - Wharton would still be brilliant (and needed) in our squad. Might be a target for next season, though

Roy Revivo (Maccabi Tel Aviv) is apparently wanted by F.C. Copenhagen for €2–3 million. from what I’ve seen, it seems like a decent price - could you please post his radar?
