Last week's #ISCE46 conference in Lille was interesting and inspiring. It was great to attend the various fascinating panels and catch up with colleagues. The online sessions may help to ease, but not stop, the inevitable post-conference blues.

Looking at some of the artefacts (such as pestels) in the museum, I couldn't help but wonder if some of them had other, well, more pleasurable uses. I had this suspicion because women's experiences are still often overlooked and neglected when it comes to reconstructing the past.

I'm reading an article in which the author quotes Simone de Beavoir. It's not a big mistake, but I don't understand how anyone (author, reviewers, editors) could have missed the spelling error. As if she were not one of the most influential feminist writers of all time.
