- we could see something start coming together. We need to do more than just win an election that probably won't happen. We need to rebuild our entire nation. The federal government is dead and they're shitting on the Constitution. We need to replace and update all of it.

I really wish I knew. I've been slamming my face into that wall for months. We need some kind of real coordination and a new movement as large as possible. Social media is barely usable at this point for anything actually useful. Maybe if we could get all of the big protests orgs and other groups ->

- The upper 'capitalist' classes and far right politics have also spent decades destroying our safety nets and ability to work together for fear of homelessness and losing what Healthcare we have. It's all been building towards this.

A frighteningly large part of the population isn't even aware of half of what's happening. Current social media systems build echo chambers and walled gardens that keep them from seeing much of anything outside their specific interests, and mainstream media is barely talking about most of it. ->

Yep. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to have hope for the future.

- in my own life that's keeping me going. It's harder every day to believe things will ever change for the better again, unless you're a selfish socio-economic parasites.

I mean, yes, but the quality of life of those generations, and even our own, will steadily slide downwards without radical change happening right now. I really wish I could internalize some positive nihilism, but it's difficult with this much empathy and compassion when I don't have much ->

I think half of those words don't mean anything when the federal government is breaking its own laws like there's a prize for getting them all. We can't rely on legal defense when the people responsible for those laws no longer obey or uphold them. I wish I could believe otherwise.

I at least appreciate they all immediately stopped clapping and look uncomfortable at the gnat bit.

It really feels like they're all cowards or complicit the longer this drags on. It's all so frustrating. Why is it so difficult to realize this is no longer politics as normal.

It's infuriating. At this point I'm sick of being one of the people who can see what we could have, but can't make real.

It would be cool if I could manifest a mysterious benefactor or maybe a magic lamp. Ya know?

I think one of the largest contributing factors to the current state of the world, is that 99% of politicians, truly give zero fucks about the people that vote for them. We're just ignorant plebs to them, and without changing that, nothing will change.

Ask much as I don't want anyone to get hurt, I hope they raid the Superbowl just for the fiasco and publicity it would create against them.

Pretty much yeah. I'm tired of being angry at the cowardice and incompetence. I'm about out of ideas for how we peacefully end this. It would be nice if everyone who was dragged to Quantico this past week would remember their oaths. I'm not sure what's left.

I'd love for someone to have a convincing argument that there's going to be a "legal" way of overcoming all of this. The longer it goes, the less likely that is. I'm tired of the stupidity and evil, it's ridiculous. Does anyone have genuinely plausible hopes?

Be easier if it didn't represent an existential threat to most of the human race at this point. People don't understand long term thinking anymore. The climate crisis is going to devastate the US and other countries in the next century, and we're going backwards in every possible way.
