Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a list of companies, organizations and educational institutions that have recently fired employees for exercising their right to free speech?

While your purpose may be to break the ice, you don’t need to call it an “icebreaker.”

If we’re calling people who resign “brave,” what do we call the people who stay and refuse to comply?

Tesla Giga Austin describes itself as “home of the Cybertruck.” Need I say more?

1 Tesla Rd, Austin, TX 78725
Short of any significance Democratic power in the house and senate, people should aggressively boycott absolutely everything Musk-related.

Massive protest-gatherings outside the Tesla headquarters in Austin Texas would probably get his attention.

WWRD? Democrats, do that.
AOC: The House is governed by a Republican majority. The Senate is governed by a Republican majority, and The White House has a Republican president. And if they want to pass their agenda, Republicans need to conjure up the votes to pass their own bills.

About five years ago, when the WHO declared the pandemic, I had this eerie feeling like I’d just stepped into the plot of one of those near-future dystopian sci-fi stories I love. Turns out, that was just the back story. So if we’re jumping in en medias res, when exactly does the real action start?

But we haven’t even tried civil disobedience. There have been protests, sure, but where are the sit-ins in these government buildings, for example?
Civil disobedience will not be enough.

Let’s learn from what works. And what doesn’t.
PROTESTORS at The Department of Labor in D.C. STOPPED Elon Musk and his squad from entering.

The alarm has been going off, and it’s as if we’re just waiting for it to stop. The lawless will not be moved by proclamations of law or naive notions like “but they can’t do that.” They can and have and will. It’s time for some physical civil disobedience while that’s still possible.

“[Y]ou've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it -- that unless you're free the machine will be prevented from working at all!!”

A little too little too late.

And who is going to make them comply, and will they even listen?
WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING: A federal judge in New York barred Elon Musk and other allies outside the Treasury Department from accessing any sensitive payment records — and ordered any who have received such info to destroy it — until at least Feb. 14.

What do all these individual pieces of infuriating news add up to? Clearly they expect to hold power long enough to never face accountability. This may be obvious, but it’s critical that we don’t miss it.

If anyone knows of postcard writing campaigns to districts having special elections for the open House seats, please let me know. I’ve tried searching, but haven’t found any yet. (I was able to join the mailing list for Postcards to Swing States.)

If I do find any, I’ll add it/them to this post.
