FWIW, I use LLMs almost every day. They're like having a smart, well-read friend who doesn't tell anyone when he smokes a joint and sometimes you just have to realize that he's high and confused at the moment.

ChatGPT / LLMs have no self-perception whatsoever. For each response, they churn out a series of words that are statistically a decent fit in relation to what came before it in the conversation. ChatGPT gave you some output that sounds good. Try your prompts again; you'll get a different story!
