News says 3 dire wolf pups were born, thus bringing the species back from extinction 10,000 years ago. But breeding siblings doesn't seem like a workable plan, and how much 10,000 y.o DNA were they really able to recover? Seems like some pretty poor science writing to me....

When I was a callow youth we thought love & peace would be our legacy to the world. I'm sad to say it didn't turn out that way. Ours has not been 'The Greatest Generation.'
