Midday, our downstairs neighbour knocks: ‘Can you take in a parcel? It’ll arrive around 4.’ Begrudgingly, I agree, too polite to say no. 4pm passes. No parcel. 7:30pm, we’re in PJs, mid-movie, and there’s a knock on the door. We pretend we’re not home. Are we terrible? There was no parcel to collect
