Let me put it bluntly and just say that it’s convenient how “Haitian pet-eating” claims just disappeared as soon as another Black immigrant community could be more easily turned into a lightning rod for the hate and fear of ignorant and bigoted right-wing Americans.
Do you remember during the election, when it was “pet-eating” Haitians who were “destroying middle America”?
And now the blame has suddenly shifted to “daycare-defrauding” Somalis?
