So true, it's important to always have in mind the message and emotions to convey into music as composers. 🎶🖤
I’ve dealt with people who don’t understand/are nasty about emotional analysis vs technical analysis. Learning how something is made mechanically is important, of course. Knowing why something makes us feel a certain way? Extremely important. Composers want us to feel things not marvel at technique
